Knowing What Was Expected Before It Was Said

I grew up in Hong Kong as the eldest daughter in a traditional Chinese family, where expectations were often understood before they were spoken.

There was a way to behave. A way to do things properly. A way to be the responsible one.

I learned to read what was needed, adapt quickly, and carry responsibility seriously. I also learned to keep moving even when something didn’t fully feel right.

Wondering Why It Still Didn’t Quite Land

From the outside, everything looked stable.

Internally, there were questions I didn’t stop to answer. They didn’t stay contained to work — they moved through roles, relationships, expectations.

Expectations that weren’t aligned. Things that were felt but not said. Roles that no longer fit but still shaped decisions.

You can keep moving forward and still feel something is off.

The Question Nobody Had Asked Me

What changed wasn’t an answer. It was a question.

What do you actually want — not what you’re supposed to want?

I had spent decades reading what other people needed. I had almost no practice reading what I wanted.

Sitting with that question, properly, is what led to everything after it.

What Became Clear

These experiences shaped where my work goes deepest: people holding several worlds at once, women leading in tech and beyond, leaders who feel everything, and achievers at an inflection point.

What looks like a single problem is rarely just one thing. It’s how things connect — or don’t.

“Multiplexity” comes from sociology and network theory: a relationship that carries several kinds of ties at once. I took it further. Multiplexities™ is the experience of living in several worlds at once — professional, personal, cultural, generational, relational — each with its own complexity and its own demands. Without a coherent center, those worlds pull apart, and so do you. Held with clarity and intention, the same worlds become a source of depth, perspective and strength. My coaching lives in that space, between fragmentation and wholeness.

Where My Approach Comes From

There’s a line from the Great Learning (大學) that has stayed with me: 修身、齊家、治國、平天下. Cultivate yourself, and you can bring harmony to your home, lead well in your work, and bring peace to the world around you. It’s why my coaching starts with you, not your title.

I am completing my ICF-accredited training at Erickson Coaching International and built the P.A.T.H.™ framework out of both halves of my life: more than fifteen years of leading complex work in tech, and a lifetime of holding several worlds at once.

What I assume about everyone I work with

That you already have more to work with than you can see right now.

That the way you’ve been operating made sense, given what you were carrying.

That change is already underway. We’re just making it deliberate.

To live with our heads and hearts, and lead with a renewed cadence that resonates.

What do you want? Let’s find out.

30 minutes. No cost. No pitch. If it isn’t a fit, I’ll say so.
